Laquanda Tolbert 3 East Clinical Javorious Wright Materials Management Non-Clinical Abdul Muhammad EVS Regan Sullivan Respiratory Therapy Management 2019 EMPLOYEES OF THE THIRD QUARTER NURSE RESIDENCY PROGRAM AND GRADUATIONS The Nurse Residency Program at Jackson Hospital is a yearlong program geared toward new graduate nurses. In this program, a class meets once a month to discuss topics pertinent to new grads. Topics covered include charting, medicated drips, EKGs, pediatric codes, obstetric emergencies, wound care and ventilation. Depending on the topic, program participants can put what they learned in class to the test by per- forming simulated scenarios in the simulation lab. This program is a great way to give new nurses extra support during their first year as a registered nurse and help them acclimate to a hospital setting. 4 Jackson Hospital
