Eric Walker 5 East STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE COMPASSION PROJECT As a way to continually im- prove patient satisfaction and customer service at Jackson Hospital, our team members have created the Standards of Performance committee. This committee offers guidelines to create an environment and encourage behaviors that foster exemplary customer service and teamwork among co-workers. The Standards of Performance committee started the Passion for Compassion project as a way for team members throughout the hospital to share why they are passionate about their jobs and how they show compassion to our patients. Thank you to this committee for helping us better understand our co- workers’ “why” behind their jobs! 5 TOWER HYDRATION EDUCATION Our team on 5 Tower recently partnered with a local youth football team and a cheerleading squad to teach children the importance of proper hydration during sports and exercise. The 5 Tower team taught the kids about drinking enough fluids during exercise and sports and also how to watch for signs of dehydration! 40 YEARS OF SERVICE The Jackson Hospital Service Award ceremony recognizes employees who have been a member of the Jackson Hospital team in five-year increments.
