The holidays are a time to express appreciation for life’s blessings. And one way to do that is to make a donation to the hospital’s foundation, which helps make our com-munity a better place to live.

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

Our foundation is a 501c3 organization that exists to support the hospital’s activities. It helps the hospital identify needs within the community. Then it raises funds to help support those projects.

For example, our foundation may sponsor:

The purchase of medical equipment, such as Jackson Hospital’s robotic surgical suite.

High-tech learning tools, such as computerized patient manikins for staff education.

New hospital construction or renovations to existing buildings.

Our foundation is led by a board of directors, which has ethical and fduciary re-sponsibilities toward those who donate. This board is composed of volunteers who are leaders in our community. They work to raise money and invest that money responsi-bly until it’s time to give the funds to the hospital.

HERE WHEN YOU NEED US

Most of us don’t think about the hospital every day—we turn to it only when we are in need of healthcare services or have a medical emergency. But the hospital and its staff are here day in and day out, helping those who need it the most.

Our foundation strives to ensure that our community has the health care we de-serve. Consider making a tax-deductible donation as a way to say “Thank you.”

OUR FOUNDATION ACCEPTS DEBIT AND CREDIT DONATIONS ONLINE AT WWW.JACKSON.ORG/FOUNDATION .
