VOLUNTEER SANDRA LEE SAVES THE DAY At Jackson Hospital, we value our volunteers’ time and dedication. Recently, volunteer Sandra Lee played a part in saving a life. When Sandra noticed a visitor having trouble walking as he entered the hospital entrance, she immediately recognized signs of a stroke and called for the ICE team. Upon arrival, they rushed the visitor to the ER, where he was treated for a stroke. Thanks to Sandra’s quick think- ing and knowledge of BE FAST, our visitor was able to receive treat- ment and begin making a recovery! Thank you to Sandra Lee and all of our Jackson Hospital volunteers for their hard work each and every day. We all have a hand to play in saving lives, and Sandra is no exception!
