We celebrated our amazing nurses with a special breakfast, ice cream sundaes, prize drawings and more. GREAT STRIDES WALK FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS Great Strides is an annual walk with a mission to raise funds to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. This year’s team captain was Jennifer Singleton, whose niece had this disease. The Jackson Hospital Fight to Breathe T-shirts helped us raise hundreds of dollars for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help people—like Jennifer’s niece! National Nurses Week DAISY AWARD: SASHANA WISDOM JHF SCHOLARSHIPS The Jackson Hospital Foundation awarded 11 high school seniors pursuing healthcare careers with $1,000 college scholarships.
